Ghost Town III
June 15-16
One of the most requested events for ROC to do again.
ROC is going back to our roots. This trip was the first overnight adventure we did as the Raptor Offroad Community. This weekend trail run includes some fun trails and stops, and it is one of the best runs for first timers looking to join the club.
While not the longest run we have ever done, this is one amazing trip and one to bring the family along. The first day is a trail run to see three ghost towns. The most notable of these is Bodie, CA. This is a town that has been left in time. The other site of the day is less well known Aurora town. This town once had a US senator representing it.

Hawthorne to Gold Point
July 27-28
Gold Point is a town lost in time. We have made many stops here on other trips but never had time to full explore the old mine town. This trip is focused on heading there to see what is around the area as well as meet up with our friend Walter! (greatest bar-tender in the world)
This is a great run for first time desert off-road runners as the days will not be super long as well as it will be a nice mix of fun trails. It's one that is fun for all ages.

Fallon Poker Run - Day Trip
August 10
This Poker Run will cover around 158 miles of dirt trails. These trails are a mix of everything the desert throws at you, from smooth, fast sections to slow washouts. Please remember this is NOT a race or competition, so take it easy when on the trail. There are washouts that can snap axles if you're trying to be Robby Gordon. This is a fun, family-friendly run like always, and open to any and all off-road trucks. Lunch will be available on the trail for this run. We will stop for dinner on the way back to Reno.

Black Rock Playa
September 6-8
We will be heading north of Reno to explore the area of Fly Geyser and Black Rock Plays, or as some of you know it, Burning Man. This will be a two-day event, with over 400 miles of trails. Lodging will be in Winnemucca, NV. We will be stopping along the way to see the sights and explore various old mines.

Mammoth Excursion
TBD
Three days of fun and adventure in the Eastern Sierra Region of Mammoth, CA. While we’ve kept the spectacular sections of the trail on the map, we have also made some modifications to the trip from previous years. This Mammoth trip is a little different than some of our usual off road trips. For this trip, the group will stay in Mammoth for 2 nights, using the town as a springboard for a number of out and back trips.
This three-day trail run heads out to explore old ghost mines, petroglyphs and geological formations. While most of the mileage each day is easy trails, there is at least one challenging section and a short crawling section, so as not to be a repetitive trail run. The focus of this trip is to be a fun, social run, while being able to play in the dirt.

ROC Fest V
October 18-20
ROC Fest is our annual finale of the season. We are having a three day campout near Fallon, Nevada, with miles and miles of trails to explore. There will be trips led by ROC staff, as well as plenty of opportunity to go out and explore on your own. Each night we come back together to socialize, eat and be merry. For those who want to off-road, but don’t wish to camp out, there are hotels in the neighboring town. If you wish to camp, be sure to register asap, as we do have limited campsites.
